As our family prayed for her healing, God gave me the idea to embroider the word “Health” on a pillow — with a hidden pocket in the back holding a small book of healing scriptures. Just as we hide God’s promises in our hearts, the book stayed hidden in the
My mother read those scriptures every day during her treatment. She never got sick from the radiation. The tumor shrank, and she lived another fifteen years.
Word spread, and people began asking for pillows of their own. I ordered 1,500 — they sold out, and I never reordered. Life moved on, and Pillows of Promise sat quietly for over twenty years.
This past April, I felt called to bring it back. It’s still God’s will to heal today — He hasn’t changed His mind. Today, our pillows are often given as gifts for a friend or family member facing illness — a way to hand someone comfort and God’s promises when words aren’t enough. We named this pillow “Healed,” because that’s how Jesus already sees you — healing was part of what He paid for on the cross. As you read the scriptures inside, we pray you’ll put your faith in what He said, and trust that He never turns anyone away.
